North American Wild Turkey....

My brother and I had quite a few laughs during our turkey season this year. Our hunt dates were from May 17th to the 21st. We both tagged nice toms in what was a very difficult hunting season. He tagged a 20# long beard on the second day of hunting. It took me until the last final hours before I bagged my 22# tom. We have come up with three general rules to consider when hunting turkeys:

1) The North American Wild Turkey is an elusive beast.

2) They come when you least expect it.

3) They don't shoot themselves.

Enjoy the pics:

My set-up. We were camped out just behind that log pile. 35 yards to the decoys.
