hutchies
Re: Dixie Chicks [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Bad part is that one of those women is married to Pat Green...............a great Texas musician. Wonder how long the marriage will last. I almost bet that some PR person told them that Bad press is better than no press so they are just out running thier mouth. [/ QUOTE ] While their talent is not in question here, I am definitely not a fan of green either. [/ QUOTE ] None of the three are married to Pat Green. Marty is married to Charley Robison (another Texas musician) They still don't rate listening in my book either, but I can't let Pat Green get roped in with them. [/ QUOTE ] I thought he was. Maybe they dated at one time.

[/ QUOTE ] Who knows, but I bet there will be 5 or so more songs with the american theme.
Bruce Schmeck
Re: Dixie Chicks No, I will not buy their music. They're entitled to their opinions but not to have everyone else listen to or support them. I think the Ditzy Chicks may have tanked their careers. stevebeilgard
Re: Dixie Chicks not only do i not support them, but i don't listen to stations that play them. if i do hear them, i call or email the station, AND i email their sponsors. since the chicks have a right to express their views, i think i do, too. rifleman25
Re: Dixie Chicks I had no idea that Charlie Robinson was hitched to one of them I really just lost alot of respect for him. I won't listen to his song "my home town" the same again. As for the Ditsy Twits I have never supported them, I have never liked their music and don't plan to listen now either. I change the station when they come on just the same as some of you have said.

dg
Re: Dixie Chicks They will not get a dime from me. They opened their mouth at the wrong time and it effected folks all over the country. They aren't the 1st ones, just, it seemed to be the wrong time. Willie Wonka was too successful when it came out. Folks forgot what Johnny Depp said. Timing is everthing I reckon. TexasDeerHunter
Re: Dixie Chicks It is actually Emily who is married to Charlie, Marty is on her second marriage to someone, and Natalie is married to a soap opera guy. I like Charlies music too and will continue to listen to him because I don't think he shares their opinions. I really don't think the two sisters agree with Natalie, IMO they probably just stuck beside her and faced the same consequences.
