IllinoisArcher Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 Well most of you know...well i think anyways i drive a 2006 chevy Tahoe well i went to a graduation party and there was no place to pull up so i parked rite next to the garage door...well a little on to the party my friends brother is goin somewhere gets in his car opens the garge door and backs straight up in to my Tahoe. Started to leave, looked behind me and there was nothing there. Someone walked up to my open window and started talking to me. While we were talking a girl pulled right in behind me, while I had it in reverse with my backup lights on, and parked. I started back without looking, heck there was no one there 30 seconds ago, and plowed her little car into the ground. Of course I caught all of the heat for it. I have seen so many people get screwed over this stuff before. Just get a signed paper from the parents stating their obligation and have em both sign it as well as the son. Cover your butt. Intentions are worth nothing but obligations on paper are golden. He didn't know she had parked behind him and he didn't know he climbed over it still the Hummer wouldn't move anymore!! Poor guy, damage Hummer and BMW!! LOL!! I woulda got a report ... nothing would have happened to him for hitting but it woulda been documented ... getting a police report doesn't mean it has to go to insurance .. just means there is proof ... I bet they turn it into insurance after they find out how much it cost to fix the side of a Tahoe... GL getting it fixed anyhow ...
