Tominator
Is in full swing in central Ohio. Sunday morning I saw no less than 6 or 7 different rabbits with a total of over a dozen in a 10 minute span. They were running around so much I don't know how many I counted twice. Over the last few days I see them running around my gardens. I'm aftraid my peas don't have a chance. This morning 2 of them were right in my back yard not 20 yards from the house hopping over each other and "boxing." It was a pretty funny sight. Squirrelhunter91
Re: The Rabbit Rut I know what you mean about seeing rabbits all over Chris. I've been seeing a bunch around my house and even while out riding the dirtbike. There is one big one that probably will go 5 pounds or so then there is another one that is about the size of a softball. Then there's others I see around every now and then.. So yes, I guess the rabbit rut is in full swing here in NY also.

buckbuster11
Re: The Rabbit Rut Last week there was a big ol cottontail sneaking around the front yard one afternoon. My brother actually walked right up to within 3 feet of it, and stood there for about 2 minutes while the bunny just sat there. I could not believe how close he let him come. Wish I had a camera. Those things are just as dumb as bucks in November this time of year.
