Guest Phaseolus (BeanMan)
My Wife and I spent the long weekend camping in unit 61 of Colorado's Uncompahgre Plateau. We rode our mountain bikes 35 miles and even saw a couple of elk. Here are som photo's of the weekend. I wish bacon were a health food. The San Juan Montains are still pretty snowy This is the kind of terrain elk love. Corral Fork of Little Creek. Thanks for looking, Beanman

Guest Phaseolus (BeanMan)
Re: Memorial Day Weekend Elk Country Andrea, That Gal in the picture is my Wife, Andrea. It was 26 degrees that morning but we stayed in the camper shell until it was above freezing. Highs were in the 50's until Monday afternoon when it topped out at 65. Not bad for 9200' elevation. It will be colder for you in October. BeanMan
