LifeNRA
Re: Banjo Minnow? [ QUOTE ] Does anyone own this kit, just wondering how well it really works. [/ QUOTE ] They fall into the same catagory as the helicopter lure! JMHO!!! BTW shockwave, why is your deer upside-down??? I believe you need to go back into Photobucket and re-rotate the file! LMBO!!! Maybe you wanted it to run to the left!
Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Banjo Minnow? Banjos are fine musicl instruments, but not too good for catching fish. Seriously, it's just a gimmick. If you want to know what works, look in the tackleboxes of the guys that are fishing FLW, BASS, etc. You won't find any Banjo Minnows there. buckbuster11
Re: Banjo Minnow? Banjo's work pretty well. They arent even in the same category as that helicopter lure junk. I've have tons of Banjo minnows because the factory where they make them is only a few minutes from my house. I've caught alot of fish on those things, and a few big boys. They work best for bass but you can use it to catch just about anything you want.
longhorn57
Re: Banjo Minnow? I used to have some and they worked great for me on the ponds that i fish. I mostly fished them over grass beds with no weight. I even caught a few cats with them but mostly just bass.
ultratec1
Re: Banjo Minnow? I too was skeptical about using them but they work great. I tried one of my buddies and after it tore in half from being hit so many times I bought some my self. They do work. Man you guys talking about that helicopter lure was funny. I remember that thing. Guest andymansavage
Re: Banjo Minnow? When I first started bass fishing a few years ago I bought a kit and they worked really well, even caught a few trout. I guess they weren't too great though because I lost them and never have thought of replacing the kit.. Andy

IowaDeerHunter
Re: Banjo Minnow? It works awesome! I do not have time now but I will post some pictures later of what we all caught with it casting for northerns in Canada, it was all we used, no spoons or spinners, just the banjos. We literally never caught anything under 24 inches and caught two ten pounds and a fifteen and a 30+ pound muskie!
