HuntingInMaine
My fiance and I went to Lake Ontario with another couple last week for a brown trout fishing trip. The weather the last two weeks there had the lake all messed up but we did managed to catch a couple nice ones! Here is the Sheep's Head I caught, it was just over 9 lbs and while it wasn't what I was after, it put up a really good fight. Pete was thrilled when he caught this 17 lb. 28 inch brown trout on the last day of the trip! The fish is being mounted and we should get it back in about a year. If you are ever in the Port Ontario area it is well worth your time to stop and check out Fish Wish taxidermy. The owner is Maggie and she has done some of the most incredible mounts I have ever seen!!! We are hoping to go back out for the salmon run later this summer (and with all the deer we saw, it wouldn't be bad to have a vacation home there either! )
