Re: Bow& Arrow Hunting advertising PORN????

Your first two names were bloold thirsty killers and drunks. Where they came from I have no clue and have never heard of hunters being referred to those names at least not in Northern PA. Hey, maybe that is because my whole area is just that. LOL Not really. I was talking about your other reference to names that anti's may call us.

I sure do agree with doughboy yet those bad ads keep our subscription rates down.

Re: Bow& Arrow Hunting advertising PORN????

If you consider that Porn??????????????? You might want to open your eyes and look around you.

Check out some of the adds that run everyday on television..........

Do you really think that the show "Getting Close" is watched for the content???

As a matter of fact I remember Realtree putting three nice ladies in tight Levis for an archery tournament on the last Monster Bucks.............

You see it's all in how you perceive it................but.....it is what it is............you call it porn..............I call it "creative advertising"...........

My eyes are open and so is my mind............and yet I'm conservative.

Re: Bow& Arrow Hunting advertising PORN????

I would rather see Tiffany Lakowsky fully clothed in camo . She could sell me before a half dressed or no dressed tramp. I don't have any issue with pretty women advertising, as long as they do it tastefully. Male enhancement adds and such should find some place else to advertise and leave the outdoor industry alone.

No worse then the Martin bow ads . Why not bash them also .

The martin bow ads show a girl holding a bow...Adam and Eve sells adult vids, and dvd's and "marital aides". How in the world can you consider that no worse then the Martin adds??? confused.gif

I can tell you the answer to that ... go over to ARchery talk and look at all the "bow" talk about the Martin girl ... ummm there is none ... I bet most ppl cant even tell you what bow she was holding at the time ... same thing with the ad in the magazine ... it comes down to ... do you want to know what was in the magazine or do you want to know what add was in the magazine ... it still comes down to your choice ... personally I like the articles in the magazine and I never even seen the add you were refering to until you told me ... I guess its all about the benjamins ... and wether we like it or not sex does sell .... its a shame its came so far over into our industry though ... I mean when I look for a bow I don't ever look at whos holding it ... I look at the bow ... to me its real simple .....
