PAbowhunter4life
To my understanding I am not legally allowed to ship ammo in the mail because it is considered an explosive due to th egun powder in it and in order to do so I would either have to be a shop or have a hazardous material permit? Is this correct or did I just make this all up? lol

AJ
Re: Shipping Ammo........ Ammo is not considered an explosive unless it is made with black powder. Smokeless powder is a propellant not an explosive. Actually it is classified as a flamable solid. It is on the other hand on the hazzardous materials list. The USPS does have rules against mailing flamable solids. You can UPS it though. An individual can ship ammunition vis UPS but not loose powder.
