Wyoming Game & Fish has been given the authority for electronic licensing and a part of this includes enabling Internet application for limited-quote licenses in 2007. Best of all, it appears hunters won't pay for licenses unless they are actually drawn, akin to New Mexico.

This is fantastic news for anyone interested in hunting WY, IMO. Details from the WY Game & Fish press release here.

Great. It's good to see these different states Wildlife Divisions dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century. CO has had electronic licenses for the last few years and I LIKE it. It just takes a little bit to get used to the system and is lots easier than waitng at the counter of some store while they handwrite out all your info.

Congrats.

Internet Apps are a great idea. The only problem I hae with them is they make you fill them out correctly. I count on a % of apps to be thrown out cause someone can't follow directions... LOL

Thats ok. It will up the drawing odds for those of us that can do it correctly. I need all the help I can get in getting a 101 or 102 wyoming muley tag.

I gave up on WY this year. They went to $75 for a preference point on moose. It would interesting to see the number of apps this year compared to last year. It was $7 for a point last year. CB
