too_pointer
Re: new shotgun I have owned both the Rem. 1100 and 11-87 semi's. They both were great shooters and would reach out to around 140 yards with the right ammo. That is the only ones I have experience with. It depends on how much $$ you are willing to pay, plus I imagine you want a scope on it ? too_

[/ QUOTE ] I own a Growning Gold Deer Hunter in 20 gauge which I find to be an excellent & accurate Deer Gun. I have a 2-7 power Leupold VX-1 Shotgun Scope mounted on it. Remington "Buckhammer" sabots & Lightfields, are awesome in it!

AJ
Re: new shotgun There are quite a few good shotguns on the market these days. The Rem 11-87, Win Super X, Mossberg 935, Browning Gold, Benelli SBE, and others are all good guns. The gas operated semi auto guns will have less recoil than the mechanical or inertia driven guns.
