Guest Colorado Bob
I'm umpiring softball games this summer for the city parks & rec dept. I'm saving all the money to fund a hunt next spring. I'll probably end up making about $2500. 2 hunts yhat I've been thinking about are-----A spring bear hunt in ID, it's a 2 bear hunt--with bait or hounds or the other hunt would be back to TX for a Rio turkey hunt (2 birds) & then add an exotic like a blackbuck antelope. Both of these hunts are right at $2000 - $2500. Anyone else have an idea? Fall hunting is already spoken for with elk, antelope, etc.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Any Ideas Yeah, if you come to Texas please shoot 15 or 20 hogs while you're here! No, let's make it an even 100. Help us get rid of those darn things. They're terrible.
monsterbucks1
Re: Any Ideas it depends have you gone bear hunting with hounds, that sounds like it would be cool. 1 with bait, 1 with hounds.
Guest Colorado Bob
Re: Any Ideas Never hunted bear with dogs, I've hunted cougar with hounds here in Colorado. I baited bear here years ago---it's kind of fun watching them come in. CB

Guest slinger09
Re: Any Ideas Me and 3 other guys got back from Idaho 2 weeks ago. We went DIY and split cost of gas and groceries. Spent 541 dollars round trip. Pretty affordable hunt.
