RDNKHNTR77 Posted June 7, 2006 Report Share Posted June 7, 2006 what is with the Indians this yr???? they r SUPPOSED to be a solid ball club fighting for the top spot in the AL Central. the offense is producing but the D is awful. hopefully they can make a late run like last year and maybe actually FINISH. what do we have to do to get a winning team in C-town?!?!?!?! Coco Crisp was replaced by Jason Michaels. Not to mention Shapiro had one of the worst off season for any GM. I knew the Tribe was going to take a major step backward this year. That being said, are real problem is Wedge. He's honestly the worst manager I've ever seen. Peralta is having a horrible season and he JUST took him out of the 3 spot. Last night Peralta is up in the 6th in a 4-4 tie game. Runners on 1st and 2nd...no out, does Wedge have him bunt....NO. Instead he lets him strike out on a breaking ball that bounced two feet in front of the plate. They went on to give up a 2-run lead and lose in the 8th inning because their bullpen is horrid.
