Newarcher
Yeppers folks, the guy who personally beheaded Nick Berg and many of the other hostages and led Al Qaeda in Iraq has been taken out by coalition troops. Even better news is that according to the statements, he originally survived the precision strike long enough for us to id him via fingerprints and facial recognition and then we handed him over to the Iraqi's and then he suddenly died. So it appears he probably suffered quite a bit. At least we didn't fix him up and then put him on some sham of a trial.....maybe, just maybe we are learning. Either way, I suppose old Cowy is searing for the beginning of his eternity and scratching his head wondering "where are my 72 womens?". Burn baby burn! As for our troops, all I can say is 1 down somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.3 BILLION to go! Oh and a great big, giant HOOORAH! The only thing that would bring him satisfaction would be "for the war to end and to get rid of George Bush". What a....... Just kidding, the military should have known first. The odd thing is that it was kept quiet for a LONG...almost eternity in the days of 24 hour news coverage. Especially with the anti-US Al Jazeera out there. I wonder how they did it and why. My hope is that they are putting extra people in place in areas where they thing Osama yo momma is hiding to look for unusual foot or truck traffic to bring Osama the news. Maybe laying in wait to get Osama... If we could get Osama and Zwahiri, it would go a LONG way towards killing the Democrats in November. In fact, I wouldn't put it past Petra Pelosi to issue a statement (to tip off Osama) demanding to know why the long wait for the announcement....."are we trying to put people in place to next catch Osama when someone travels to give him the news?". Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Goodbye Al Zarqawi......GOODBYE I too am elated! I turned on the news this morning and for once CBS, try as they might, couldn't spin this into anything but good news for the US and our War on Terror. And let's not forget that along with Al-Zarqawi there were 7 others killed. Those other 7 were unboubtably also high ranking members of al Queda or they would not have been there with Al-Zarqawi in the first place. And from a purely strategic perspective, this is even bigger than taking out Osama bin Laden would be. OBL is nothing more than a figure head now, while Al-Zarqawi was the real leader of al Queda. Newarcher
Re: Goodbye Al Zarqawi......GOODBYE Texan, I can see the spin already happening between CBS and CNN.....the second question at the briefing seemed to be (couldn't understand it because there was no mic) whether any women or children were killed in the attack. Who give two shakes? If they were with Zarqawi, they deserved what they got. I heard Miles O'idiot on CNN say something to the effect of "well, come on haven't we overstated Zarqawi's importance in Iraq and Al Qaeda?". WHAT? I tell you, between our so-called Senators that are as against America as much or more than Al Qaeda and the news media, I think we have already lost. I think this Country as we know it is on a ventilator and fading fast! New

Besides, the General looks good on TV. I agree about the OBL thing. I have a feeling there will be another 'video' from that guy saying: "another great brother has been murdered by the Great Satan... blah, blah, blah... rise up and fight the infidels who invaded... blah, blah, blah...
