Yes. Go really slow ! Squirrels are however easy , that is much easier then chipmunks. Just take your time and watch the knife. The dorsal cut is the easier cut to do, but I like the finished product of a belly cut.

You may think this is crazy, but I've got a freind who swears by this.

1. Take a ball inflating needle and sharpen it to a point.

2. Insert it between the skin and muscle on the back or abdomen.

3. Air that little sucker up.

4. Most of the skin is torn from the flesh and comes off pretty easily.

You might want to wear a face mask just in case you have too much pressure. crazy.gif

I saw this done on a groundhog. It was pretty wild and left the skin intact.
