BamaTrophyHunter
i have been making them for two years and thought i would share will yall. i get a roll of concrete wire and and make a six foot circle then cut it off. i cut out three windows and a door. then rap a tarp or curtain around it and spray paint it. they work really well for scent control and easy to move around. i get a peice of rebarb (spellin) and bend one end around and drive in the ground to hold it there. buckee
Re: ground blinds Have you got any pictures?? I make mine out of fence wire. This is one of my home-made grass hunting-blinds, from start to finish. It took around 4 hrs to build myself.

wtnhunt
Re: ground blinds Have made a few ground blinds here before. Used wire mesh and old army tent canvas. They work really well on fence rows.

buckee
Re: ground blinds [ QUOTE ] Curious on if you replace the grass every year...??? [/ QUOTE ] Yep, sure do. It turns brown pretty fast, but then so does the rest of the grass along the fenceline.
