wheelin99xj
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes They work pretty good and do spin more than a normal vane. I don't think they make that much of a difference to cover the price difference over other vanes. I didn't see my groups shrink like advertised and at longer ranges I think they don't group as well. They do work good with broadheads at normal hunting ranges. Good luck with what you decide they might really work great for you.
Jeramie
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes I asked the same thing at the Get together last weekend. Several of the guys had good things to say about them but mainly for hunting. I am still going to pick up a dozen Goldtip Xt shafts with the quicksping vanes. I can see where they would help and I bet it would really make a difference when flinging BH's. Infact, youve inspired me to run out to Broken Arrow on my way home.... starbux
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes I use them because I got a dozen arrows with 'em two years ago and haven't replaced them yet. I don't know that they're much better than normal ones at the relatively short treestand ranges I shoot at. I'll probably replace them with cheaper ones when I get down to 4 or 5 arrows with good vanes.
mo_hunter
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes They work very well. But not very durable at all and add alot of weight to the end of your shaft. I've found that blazers work just as well and are much more durable not to mention alot cheaper.
Guest deadeye270
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes They are a very good vane that does a very good job of controlling broadheads due to the much faster spin rates. Downsides are they are expensive, wrinkle easy, and slow down your arrow alot at ranges beyond 40yds.
Leo
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes [ QUOTE ] They are a very good vane that does a very good job of controlling broadheads due to the much faster spin rates. Spin and FOC are the most crucial elements to good broadhead flight. Field tips are much more forgiving to spin and FOC. I wonder though if you are already shooting a drop away rest, why not just increase the helical on your vanes to get more spin?
hutchies
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes I shoot a drop away with as much helical as I can get and use Bohning Killer vanes. I get enough spin that I don't need quickspins. Plus they are High $$$.
buckee
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes If your shooting them through a Wisker Biscuit, forget it. They are just too fragile. Go with Bohning
c_lou
Re: NAP Quickspin vanes I acquired about 3 dozen of them when they first came out. I fletched a dozen arrows with them and gave them a good test. My conclusion, they weren't worth the extra money for my shooting. So I gave the rest away. Try them on a few arrows before you fletch a whole bunch.
