Guest whitetails4ever
Does anybody on here use a ML shotgun for turkey's. I'm interested in learning how to do this and I'm not sure where to start. I'm leaning towards a t/c encore 209x12 gauge. What I'm more interested in is what loads you use and equipment you need. Any help would be appreciated.
billkay
Re: ML\'s for turkey I use the Knight TK 2000 with 90 grains of loose 777 and #5 shot. One of the nice features of this gun is that you don't need to remove the choke to load it. Took a real nice bird with it this year.

billkay
Re: ML\'s for turkey Knight has 2 different wads. There is a difference between them, but off hand I don't know. I will find out for you though. I think one is for lead shot, the other for HeviShot, etc.
Guest whitetails4ever
Re: ML\'s for turkey Can a guy get the same range out of the ML as he does with at shotgun or comparable. How about the patterns? Is it just something I'll have to mess around with. Thanks for all the help.
too_pointer
Re: ML\'s for turkey If you see the commercials on tv, they claim the Knight to take turkeys out to 40 yards+. The patterns were pretty impressive too_
