Re: Fletching Question

Hen vanes are Flor Yellow and Flor Orange with a white **** vane.

No matter what bow I pick I just need the magic white vane. It makes placing an arrow in a rest/string a no- brainer if you shoot several bows with the same arrow.

Someday I'll get pics of my arra's!

Oh I also add a white, black or brown wrap depending on where I hunt and the leaf color.

Re: Fletching Question

Here is my hunting set up.

Gold Tip Camo XT3555 with 7" white reflective wraps and 3 sheild cut 5" feathers, green nocks.

Bow is a ChekMate Hunter II 56#@25" custom made for me.

This is what I used last fall...

Gold Tip 3555, white reflectives and all 3 white parabolic feathers, white nocks.

For the record.

All white is great until it snows. LOL

Bow is an Osage self bow 67#@27".

Re: Fletching Question

Forgive me for bad mouthing the colors of our flag but if you are turkey hunting, do not use red, white, blue, purple, etc. anywhere on the arrow. Using these colors will get you shot. If you use a white **** feather, any other color separate from your hen feathers will work.
