If your wanting something to hunt over all season then I would recommend a late summer planting of wheat, ryegrain, and austrian winter peas. Plant early september---will be up and ready for bow season and will stay green and attractive all winter. If you want to plant something now then I would recommend buckwheat. It will provide some pretty good forage--then the first of september disc the buckwheat in and plant the wheat/rye/peas combo. todd Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
