Nut Posted June 15, 2006 Report Share Posted June 15, 2006 About the time I got laid off from work my Dad started having memory lapses. Well it had started geting worse according to my Mom. He had started stumbling,slurring his words among other things. Then on his birthday this month when I called and talked to him he did not know who I was at first and then thought I still lived close by. I talked to my Mom and suggested that the doctor do a CT scan and other things. They did one Monday and they stated there was something there and then sent him home. Well tonight he was rushed to the ER because he could not even keep upright at all and everytime he did he just fell over. They did more scans and tests and then admitted him. This is the best hospital for him since it was the one where he received his heart transplant 6 years ago. So please say a prayer for my Dad today. His name his Garfield. It was hard talking to my Mom on the phone tonight with her sobbing as she said that the doctor thinks that the tumor is cancerous. I did not get all the details clear and will try to talk with someone at the hospital tomorrow. So I might be going up north Monday afternoon.
