Ohiobucks
Who is going to win? Tominator and I have a PM string going right now, I think Tiger will win, he says no freakin way. Tiger has the ability to go low every time he picks up a club, and I think the combination of this being a major and the loss of his dad, he will be playing some truly inspired golf. JMHO. SuperMn106
Re: The US Open I think Phil Mickelson will win, I would like to see Phil and Tiger in the last group on sunday. So i will say Phil beats Tiger on sunday.
Tominator
Re: The US Open Nope, no freakin' way. Too much going on in Tiger's life. Not a knock on him, just my feeling. If I had to pick one person: Furyk.

Ohiobucks
Re: The US Open Tiger is +4 through 8 now..... I did mention in my PM's to Chris, although he would never admit it, Tiger was either going to dominate or play really bad.
buckbuster11
Re: The US Open I have a pretty strong feeling about Tiger this week too. He is +5 after 11 right now, but I'll stick with him.

Not my fault you're sneaking posts in while you're at work, and I'm sitting here actually watching The Open on my first of 12 weeks off. Oh, BTW, Tiger's at least +6 last time they showed him, which was abooot 10 seconds ago. Tiger's 7 off the pace and guess who's on the telecast non-stop? Funny you should post about him at 1:52 Eastern Standard Time which was the approximate time I checked the scoreboard and saw him in first place. Just a coincidence eh? I don't think so. SuperMn106
Re: The US Open Looks like my idea of a Phil and Tiger showdown is not gonna happen. I am glad to see Phil play good, He kept himself in contention to win his 3rd straight Major.

toddyboman
Re: The US Open Lot of golf yet to play before we count tiger out. He did not look good today at all, but he may rise to the challenge. This course is set up nice for Furyk and he obviously played well today and he always plays well in the US open. Time will tell, it will be fun to watch
Muff
Re: The US Open Its not a good course for Tiger....fairways are only 25 yards wide....and the rough is 5 to 6 inches deep.....Tiger does not hit alot of fairways and this rough will kill his scrambling ability...not sure who will win but look for the shorter more accurate hitters to be up on the leaderboard...JMO

NYBUCK
Re: The US Open I am partial to Phil, one because I am a lefty also and two because he plays our equipment. Don't count Tiger out, at times he shown that he is super human and if he turns it on he could get right back into it. The biggest surprises to me were Els and Goosen. Lots of golf to go, should be agreat week-end.

Ohiobucks
Re: The US Open No freakin way Fuyrk will win it, no freakin way. Hated to see Tiger miss the cut, but that is how it goes. I knew he would either dominate or fall apart. He definitely fell apart. Go get 'em Duval.
Smitteken
Re: The US Open My fantasy picks were. Mickelson...started...currently 7th Woods...had my reservations thats why he was on the reserve Adam Scott...started...42nd Padraig Harrington...activated him for round 2...currently 5th Luke Donald...started him but sent him back down after round 1...29th Stewert Cink...still on reserve...21st Arron Oberholser...started...always a safe bet... 7th Lucas Glover...luckily he sat the bench...now he's on his way home. all in all I haven't done bad, but a lot can happen at Winged foot. Smitteken
Re: The US Open UH OH! Phil is in the lead going into Sunday. Thats awesome. I'm a huge fan, not only of his game but his demeanor. Despite being second only to Tiger he stays out of the media, seems like a regular guy that loves his job. Good luck to Phil Mickelson
