Squirrelhunter91
Every year here around the house we have a groundhog problem. They get into the garden and eat only the cucumber plants. Two years ago they did it. I shot that one. Last year, they did it. I shot the young of the year. This year they did it and today I got the young of the year again. The momma has gotten away from me for 2 consecutive years. 2 years ago I missed a 20 yard shot at her and last year I didn't see her. This year, I missed her the other day at about 25 yards. The arrow flew over her back. I didn't aim properly because I was on top of a hill and the angle and pythagorean theorym and well you get the idea. But today that all changed. I went out in the back with my bow and got to the gate at full draw like I usually do and saw him about 10 yards away at the bottom of the hill. It was totally oblivious to me being there. He continued feeding and stood up to survey the landscape and I let the Slick Trick tipped arrow take care of business. It hit him and he was down for the count. He squirmed quite a bit and evicerated himself, but it was all over after a minute or two. The bow and the critter: The coolest part about today is that last year I shot the other groundhog on 6/16. Now think about todays date. ** If the first pic is too graphic, please edit **
