HuntingInMaine
I like shopping....a LOT! But as I was watching the morning news they were showing people waiting in throngs for the stores to open, when the doors finally open they are all pushing through as if Walmart is giving the entire contents of the store away for free! What is up with these people??? No "deal or steal" is worth pushing little old ladies out of the way so you can get to the next aisle!! Some of these bargain hunters should be ashamed of themselves. I personally love Christmas time shopping, all the people and lines don't bother me, but I see no need for such desperation, especially since we still have a month of shopping left. BTW - let that be a reminder to all you guys who wait until christmas eve to do you shopping! My mom swears my dad gets a cart christmas eve and she gets anything that falls off the shelf and into the cart! lol
JimT
Re: Christmas shopping! I know... People are just nuts some times. Does not make any sense. My wife was at WalMart at 6:00 this morning. The parking lots was completly full she said. But she saved a bunch of money so it was worth it. I love to shop also, but do most of it online. Cabelas, Basspro, Natchez. etc.

NY911Bowhunter
Re: Christmas shopping! Last year, we did the 0500 Doorbuster sale event at WalMarts (always add the "s" - that's ghetto). It was NUTS!!!!!! people are crazy and will stop at nothing - not even stealing for that dang 20 dollar DVD player! I swore I would never do it again, even though we made out like bandits! Wellllllllll....................... Today I had to decide between hunting with my cousin or hitting the malls (Both at the crack of Dawn). I chose to huint, but the Wife and boy went shopping. SHE WAS UP AT 0350!!!!!!!!!!! She was the 3rd person in line at Kohl's, but got bumped to second after #2 had a seizure and fell out of line! She was able to get that portable DVD player she insisits we need! Oh, and a heck of a deal on a washer/dryer combo!
archerjg
Re: Christmas shopping! I like Christmas shopping for my family better than getting gifts. I usually am done Christmas shopping by November. I saw the lines and I am glad that I wasn't out there. Archerjg
