HarvDog
I tried this a few weeks ago and the corn was incredible. I'll be doing this again with ribs tomorrow. Grilled Corn on the Cob INGREDIENTS: • Ears corn still in husks • butter, softened • salt and pepper ________________________________________ DIRECTIONS: 1. Peel back corn husks, remove and discard the silk and then soak the whole cobs in a pot of cold water for 15 minutes. 2. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate. 3. Remove corn from water. Place 1 tablespoon butter, salt and pepper on each piece of corn. Close husks. 4. Wrap each ear of corn tightly in aluminum foil. Place on the prepared grill. Cook approximately 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until corn is tender.
AJ
Re: Grilled Corn on the Corn Good recipe! Is there any other way of doing it? Sometimes I omit the foil part. The husk will keep everything moist. This is only on low coals though.

Tominator
Re: Grilled Corn on the Corn My buddy swears this is the way to eat corn, but I've never tried it. Takes too long I guess. Maybe I'll try it this year.

Try it man! You'll love it.
Tominator
Re: Grilled Corn on the Corn I can pick and eat 3 dozen in 30 to 45 minutes! I'll try it that way some day. I have abooooot 1/4 acre in sweetcorn this year, so I'll have lots to experiment with.

wtnhunt
Re: Grilled Corn on the Corn I actually prefer my corn on the cob cooked on the coals, but my wife and kids like it boiled so that is how it gets cooked. In a couple weeks will have quite a bit of peaches and cream corn ready to start picking.
