RangerClay
Howdy all, Back in May I was getting ready to tear up my food plot behind my house and start over. So I went to my neighbor to borrow his tiller. I've borrowed his stuff for years and in return I let him hunt on my property. After this stupid song and dance the answer was, no. I mumbled a few explanatives as I walked away and started to contemplate what I was going to do next. After a couple hours I was walking passed my garage and I had a brainstorm. Next to the garage was some old stair stringers. I thought to myself that the points of the stringers should do the job. However the points would probably wear down. So I kicked it up a knotch and put some 1/4" cold rolled flat stock on each tooth. Let me tell you, it looked like it would get r done. I hooked it up to the 3-wheeler and off I went. Here are some pics. Here is what it what it looked like when I was done. Here are the steel "teeth" I added. Notice that I can adjust the depth of the teeth. Hooked up to the wheeler Proof is in the pudding Now that I am done I would make one change. The flat stock did not hold up in my rocky soil. I plan to take the flat stock off and add some rebar or something heavier. So here is an idea for those of you who cannot afford the expensive stuff. Almost the entire project was made with reused material. If I had to buy all the parts I still think it would be very inexpensive. Good luck and let me know if you try something similar Ranger

RangerClay
LOL! Those pics are two years old. However it is still going strong. I had remove the flat stock metal and put rebar on instead.
