Gator
I am looking for some 3555 GT's. I only need a couple, need them at least 25.5" long. I am running an experiment. Anybody got a couple laying around they could spare?

Gator
Re: Looking for some Goldtip 3555\'s Just may be the opposite, that is why I am looking for 3555's I currently have 5575's
hutchies
Re: Looking for some Goldtip 3555\'s You maybe right especially as short as you and I are cutting them. I looked here and it looks like you need 85 grain tips with those arrows. http://www.goldtip.com/downloads/2006sizing-chart.pdf
Gator
Re: Looking for some Goldtip 3555\'s No, I need 100gr tips, with Quickspins is what I am gonna try. 85gr will make my arrow TO LIGHT, with 100gr tips and quickspins, my arrow will weigh roughly 360gr, right now they weigh roughly 345gr
hutchies
Re: Looking for some Goldtip 3555\'s The 3555's weight 7.4 gpi compared to 5575's at 8.2 gpi. I checked the Goldtip Build an arrow program and it shows the arrows to weight 350 grains with 100 grain tips. Your FOC will be fine with either setup 85 or 100 grain tips. Gator
Re: Looking for some Goldtip 3555\'s Did you use 3555's or 5575's? I did 3555's, and my FOC is 12.28, arrow weight is 339gr. Add another 21gr for the quickspins, that comes out to 360gr with an FOC of 10.11 5575's with Killer Vanes and a 100gr pt my FOC is 10.44, arrow weight 360gr
hutchies
Re: Looking for some Goldtip 3555\'s It doesn't have killer vanes or quickspins so I put 5 inch vanes in there and yeah I used 3555's. That is with a 25.5 inch arrow. 85 grn pt= 9.38 100 grn pt= 11.?? Go here and go to the build your own arrow. http://www.goldtip.com/
