tp793
I was having a coversation with an older guy the other day and we came around to talking about fishing and what our favorite baits and lures were. During the conversation I noticed and have noticed more often now that I'm paying attention to it, the way people say lure. To me its lure plain and simple, but some people call them Lew-er like a word with two syllables, so which is it, lure, or lew-er?

Guest HaDeRonDa
Re: Lures lur/er n. lur/ing·ly adv. Although I have heard it pronounced Lur in the back woods where everyone is related. Sooo, Tominator is right. It does depend on where you live. So now you have to ask yourself. Are you a relative?
