There are many predator scents in stores. If you have a Cabela's archery catalog, they have the most predator scents and faster delivery than Bass Pro, though I like Bass Pro Shops better for various reasons.

Remember, If your state's government says it isn't any of that animal in the state, and it's not on the endangered species list, It's probably legal to kill.

Thanks! But I don't think I can take a Bear, Cougar, or Wolf here. I'm pretty sure they're all protected...

Or you can just yell, "He's coming right for me!" and then shoot and claim self defence. grin.gif JK I don't think that'll work..

Telling us the area where you live could help us in finding out which preditorial animals are in your area. I am thinking wild boar, they are isane and brutal, it looks easily from the picture that It may be a boar, they are known to eat meat. Dont underestimate the cyotes they could do that too.

Thought I had deleted this one, but went back and checked and found it. Here is my first bowkill Bond. The coyotes found her before I got down from my stand within 30-45 minutes after I shot her. Didnt realize when I heard them, that my doe had gone that far and that they could have found her that fast. Had trouble following the does trail in the dark, so held off for the next morning. I found the doe the next day and this was what was left. The guts and hind end were pretty well eaten out of her.

Yeah I guess I shouldn't rule out coyotes. That looks a lot like what we've been seeing. It's just that all the other coyote kills I see are completely cleaned up within a few nights and then scattered across the woods or they atleast drag it a few yards. Hardly ever see them eat it in the deer bed...

I talked to a guy from the Dnr today. He didn't really have an answer. He told me to send him a picture and that if I found another fresh one call him and he'll come out and look at it. I guess we'll see....

The yotes had the opportunity to feed on that good sized doe overnight. I was pretty shoocked when I found her.

Then last year, with my wifes input, we ruled my daughters first buck as a miss. Turned out she didnt miss at all. Unfortunately I heard yotes 3 or 4 days after she had shot the deer and I went back by myself and walked the river bed back and forth really searching, and thanks to some buzzards taking off I pinpointed the deer, or whay was left. Looked pretty well the same as this doe. Guts and rear end gone.

Its hard to say what killed those deer. As around and see if any one eles is having this problome.

The one I took a picture of was actually on the neighbor's land. I was cutting hay for them. I'll ask around but I think it's pretty isolated because we've only seen these on 200 of our 1200 acres.

Couold be wild dogs too.....even worse...

Sure hope not. Wild dog packs can be pretty dangerous, of course, bears and mountain lions are too. Hope you get some pics of whatever it is on your camera.
