Arrow performance ??

my fiance has a Hoyt MT Sport she purchashed new from a local pro shop, it is set to 27" draw @ 50#, she has a Quicktune 1000 rest, and is shooting PSE Carbon Force Dominator 200's with 3" vanes. This is what the pro shop set her up with. I personally dont dont where the problem is pertaining to arrow accuracy as she shoots very tight groups @15yrds and beyond that is nothing even close to grouping. I had her try one of my arrows ( Beman ICS Venture 400's @ 29"). She definately holds 1 1/2 group @ 25yrds shooting my arrows vs her PSE Carbon Force. So why such a better group with longer/heavier arrows vs the lighter/shorter. I need some input on where I should start to get her bow shooting better.

Re: Arrow performance ??

I would venture to say there is a spine issue somewhere, either over spined or under spined. from what you're describing I would say under spine. But don't quote me on that!!!

Hmmm, according to what I see on GoldTips sight, If what I read in the 200-400 is correct with the sizing on hers, she is WAY overspined. but then again, don't quote me!!!!

I'll have to agree with gator sounds like a spine issue. I ran into the same problem with some Bemans. I was really down on the arrows because I could not get them to group. Later found out the guy at the pro shop misread the chart.

A little more information is really needed, How long are her arrows? What weight tip is she shooting? When she misses are they hitting left or to the right? Have you made sure her center shot is set, walk back tuned the bow?
