Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Whats a nice pair of Binoculars for under $150 If I were going to buy an inexpensive set of binoculars or a scope, I'd have to go to the store and look through them first. You CAN find cheap optics with a good picture, but another identical item on the shelf next to it may not be nearly as good. If you mail order something, it's hit or miss on the optical quality. You really need to check it out in person and make sure you're getting a good one.
Guest Hi-Tech RedNeck
Re: Whats a nice pair of Binoculars for under $150 I purchased a pair of Cabelas Pine Ridge 8x42 porro prism glasses several years ago and can not complain one bit. I hav ecompared thesse glasses to some of the best out there and they have held there own. These things are bright and clear and best of all rugged, they have been dropped on concrette at teh bow shop more than once and are still 100%. I can not brag about these things enough. HTR. JimPic
Re: Whats a nice pair of Binoculars for under $150 Nikon makes a very nice glass as does Leupold with their Wind River glasses.
Guest Broncho10
Re: Whats a nice pair of Binoculars for under $150 When it comes to glass, you get what you pay for. The more you spend the better quality. If I only had $150, I would go with the most expensive pair of Nikon's or wind rivers I could afford. Dad bought a pair of 10x50 Nikons 2 years ago for $125 and they still work great. They are the best I have looked through for that price. They gather light well and have a good picture.
