VTbowman
I have had it with being a land ower and having who ever and what ever have no respect for my property...!!! 1st tresspassers run off my buddy while he's huntin'.... Now I have some dang buck trashing everything! Ruining perfectly good bark on several trees. Kicking dirt everywhere and digging holes on all my log roads. Chasing all my doe around like he owns the place. Thats IT! He's DEAD if I see him just once....!!!!! LOL I hope to see this bad boy come VT's ML season... Wish us luck! (BobD and VermontHunter will be out there too)

VTbowman
Re: Dang those disrespectful bucks!!! I said "almost"... he he he Luke (Vermonthunter) and I have been kicking leaves and debis into a fairly large scrape we found a couple weeks ago and everytime we check it, its opened right back up... Plus we have reports of a big guy roaming and chasing in my fields still. I saw it only once, after legal light, before the rifle season started. (of coarse) Its still thought to be out there but has probably gone noc... I am hoping the post rut will keep him looking for unbred doe since we have a ton of them up here... VTbowman
Re: Dang those disrespectful bucks!!! No with your luck he will just rub the crap out of the stock while your napping just to mess with ya... But dont you worry yourself about him. I will take care of this problem... You just keep the doe out of the way, when they all start to charge us.... LOL

billygoat
Re: Dang those disrespectful bucks!!! Good luck up there, guys! Remember Luke, sometimes staying awake is the biggest challenge of the hunt (LOL). One shot, one kill, best of luck.
VermontHunter
Re: Dang those disrespectful bucks!!! Having a blast this year DEERSLAYER haven't filled my rifle tag yet but do to a very bad fate with my foodplot ( vandales ) I got to meet Vtbowman and his friends and seem to have hit it off. Really looks like the making of a great friendship. Thisin itself means more to me than tagging out. Like I have stated in other post I can't ever repay Vtbowman enough for inviting me to hunt his property this is totally unheard of in this state beleive me land here is at a premium. Although hunting is important to me friendships are even more important to me. And yes we are having a blast here even tho the deer aren't coperating with me yet this year. Hopefully the upcoming ML season will be rewarded with some deer. If not OH well I've made some new friends..

VermontHunter
Re: Dang those disrespectful bucks!!! I for one would be honored with your presence Adkhunter and I'm sure that Shawn would also..I've just felt good enough today to go to the local gunshop and look at some muzzel loaders for next season and might be considering the Omega or the CVA Kodiak magnum if the money becomes and issue. Would love to hear your suggestions on a muzzel loader that would be economical but durable if you have any...
VTbowman
Re: Dang those disrespectful bucks!!! Well I went out yesterday to move a couple stands and tweek the tree lounger higher. This was an undertaking for sure with the 40+ mph winds and rain. Trees and tree tops were falling down all around me to include a 3 foot diameter bad boy that took out eveything in its path. And speaking of paths; 2 log roads had trees and major limbs fall on to them while I was out there. It took 5 minute to get up in there and 45 to get out! But its all set and done. Lukes apples are out, 600 lbs worth, and those scrapes seem to be active still.. Hard to tell in the rain but they were still uncovered and no leaves were in them... (3 scrapes) Oh BTW Dave, 2005 is still open invite... Tell GW too.
