Dakota Posted July 1, 2006 Report Share Posted July 1, 2006 I'm baaaaaack! Man did I have a great week at church camp! Caught a couple trout my first two days. A big 11 in. rainbow on Sat. afternoon (I had a big 20+ in. almost come between my legs while I was fly fishing that morning. My words exactly: "Um...uh...bu..bu..umh!" ) and my limit Sunday afternoon. A 12", 10", two 8", and a 6". I didn't fish the rest of the time, b/c most of my camp friends graduated this spring and I wanted to spend most of my free time w/ them. And it stinks 'cause most of 'em live in Lincoln, NE or Underwood, ND. Man! I really felt God's presence there. In fact, when I injured my knee, I was almost giddy 'cause the exact same God of the universe that created the world and me and sent his Son to die for me so Christ's righteousness could be imputed on me is the same God that before the concept of time was even created knew that Tues. my knee would give out! Think about that! Now I don't know about you, but frankly, I think that is just plain AWESOME!!! It's fine now, though. I was sad leaving today, not only because of leaving, but because one of my friends that graduated is a girl that is a true gem among gems, and fits to a TEE exactly what I'm looking for in a girl.
