With an IFS you wear out pitman arms, idler arms, and tie rod ends VERY quick....not to mention its hard on a transmission. My truck only gets driven when im cruisin for my pleasure, hunting or towing something. I drive a Grand Prix to work everyday and running around places. Besides that, the gas is expensive and a dmax would be a little cheaper to drive. It will be a couple years before im on the market. But I have no intentions on getting rid of the truck I got now....I have alot of money into aftermarket stuff and its in show room condition so im gonna hang onto it for many years and I'll need another vehicle to get places. I get about 12-13 no matter whether I am driving highway or around town. Eventually going to upgrade to a 4 door, might just go with a duramax when I do too.
