ksbowhntr77
Just thought I'd get your guy's take on the offer. If you're like me you pm'd with interest. What did you think? I'm wondering if I'll have enough time to sell? Let's hear your thoughts.

ksbowhntr77
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? That's what I kinda thought. I wonder what it will cost each rep and what the return potential would be?
GWSmith
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? I think it's nice to be asked. Sales are always going to be what you make of it. If you have the investment capital to begin with you can do well depending on the effort you put in. If you believe in the product your selling it does help alot! The basic premise for sales I use is to find a need and meet that need. Always be willing to talk about the product with anyone you meet I've done well as a Renzo's Decoy retailer and I keep rolling over my initial investment to buy more stock to sell. BTW...Vermonthunter...Your Decoy is shipping out to you today
RyanH
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? I went to his web site. they really dont have many items to offer! It would HARD to be a sales rep for them when they are limited to what they have to offer!
hutchies
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? Well and when you start out you get like what 10% off. If that is an $80 product you get $8 off. Unless you are able to sell alot of products there is not much profit to be made..................good luck to those of you that try it. ksbowhntr77
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? Personally, I think if they wanted you to sell their item they would give you a jacket when you decided to be a rep. Only fair I think. You shouldn't have to pay for the product you're going to be selling.
VermontHunter
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? [ QUOTE ] BTW...Vermonthunter...Your Decoy is shipping out to you today [/ QUOTE ] THANKS Gary,,, and it wasn't necessary, but very much appreciated...and I'll definately use it... As for the Rep. thing, I was interested until I learned that I had to invest in my own gear.... 10% break isn't nada these days... and my labor is worth way more to me than that... buckee
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? Instead of discussing it here, why don't you get the facts from them first? I'm sure there is a market out there for quality clothing, even though their line isn't very big. Those pants look like quality. Hard to find good quality these days. Like Gary said, it's what your willing to put into it. Up here on the west coast, it seems everyone caters to Remington products, simply because they are less of a hassle with the border taxes and all. That's the understanding I have from all the retailers I've asked. I'm always complaining about not enough Realtree around here. Everyone seems to cater more to MossyOak and I can't figure out why. VermontHunter
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? [ QUOTE ] Everyone seems to cater more to MossyOak and I can't figure out why. [/ QUOTE ] That's an easy one Steve,,, I asked the very same thing of a Walmart Sales person when I was last in thier store... His reply to me was one I expected,, he said it was all about the $$$. Mossy Oak apparently is a cheaper dollar product to sell to the consumer... Is thier product a lower quality grade of clothing ?? I guess that would be of personal opinion I would say.. You just can't find Realtree Camo products around here in the stores and if you happen to find something you are going to PAY for it.. If I had the choice, it would definately be RT Camo... ruttinbuc
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? Some shops around me have a hard time moving hunting clothing with WalMart's underpricing and Cabela's quality. Other than maybe finding a market on the internet it might be a tough sell. The goods would have to be super special to make it work. One shop by me is now selling ASAT and moves it better than the rest. Not that it is flying off the shelf, but it moves. The reason they don't give a jacket to every person that wants to be a rep is commitment... You can give away 100 new jackets and get 10-12 people that will try to move the product... or give feed back on it Dwight told me he has had over 70 PM's in just a few days...The cost of free jackets would add up fast... AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? With (2) small kids and most of my buddies all set with their camo clothing needs, just don't have the time to do it. Not that I am opposed to a deal on a jacket, I just feel I would not be able to give Dwight the time and effort he needs to make his company successful. Would work great for a guy that has a great relationship with local pro shops and can get his/her foot in the door and move some of Dwight's product. I do wish the ones going to do this a lot of success and hope they do well!
Tominator
Re: Classic Camo Field Rep???? I'm completely happy with teaching. If I could do it part time, I'd do it, but it sounded like travel and promotions were needed, which I can't commit to.
