revhard Posted July 3, 2006 Report Share Posted July 3, 2006 how long does the batteries in your trail cameras last. i am kinda new to the trail camera thing, and my wife bought me a Stealth Cam, and its not the bottom of the line one either, . it takes 8 "C" bateeries. i put the camera on thetree and in a wek and 2 days its dead as a hammer.?! how lond do yours last and am i doing something wrong? My leaf river with a lot of night time activity, talking 150-200 shots a week at night time, the batteries will last one and a half to two months with energizers. I should add, that is warm weather time frame...spring to fall.....winter tends to where tham out a little quicker, but I've still been seeing 2+ months during the winter... Wish I could find them in c and d cell batteries for the leaf river, but the batteries in the leaf river do last a pretty good while.
