Guest J_Owens_66
Anyone own one? Or shot one? I think it would be a sweet handling gun. It sure is a pretty gun, just wish it had a pistol grip instead of straight. So how is this gun folks? Thanks
Strut_Buster
Re: Browning BLR Lever Action this gun looks sweet i think. Handled it at scheels last night. Has a clip so its can shoot some real deer calibers.
LifeNRA
Re: Browning BLR Lever Action Sweet looking gun but I do not have one! But I do have a Browning bolt and shotguns! But I am not a fan of lever actions anymore!

AJ
Re: Browning BLR Lever Action Not much. I am not a lever action fan (other then a Savage 99), so I stay clear of them. I can not say if they are good, bad, or indifferent. They are not my choice, thats all.
superguide
Re: Browning BLR Lever Action Ty has a .243 blr he loves it-shoots pretty accurate-there are lots of them and .308's in our neck of wooods. I wouldn't shoot one in the longer calibres because if you don't jack them all the way back they will jam. I'm like AJ i'm still a bolt man too. Shaun_300
Re: Browning BLR Lever Action Dad has owned a BLR in a .308 for years, and same with his best friend, and a couple more in our gang, MAN CAN THEY SHOOT LOL. the 308s have a nice 20" barrel on them, i shoot dads all the time, it is a really comfortable gun to shoot, and i cant tell you how many times that thing would out perform a bolt when a deer is running wide open across the field. Dad has shot many fast running deer with the BLR. IT would be an AWESOME choice, i am thinking of getting one in a .30-06 or 300WSM.
Washi
Re: Browning BLR Lever Action I was seriously considering a BLR after I handled one in a local store. It felt good to me. I ended up buying a BAR after the BLR sold and the BAR went on sale.
