Quail Hunting

Hey, all!

I found this forum the other night. Sounds like a good place. It looks like this Upland section is running kinda slow, so I figured I would give it a boost. My favorite type of hunting is quail hunting. As I live in South Carolina, unfortunatley, there's not many wild birds around, so we have to buy our own. But I really enjoy it.

Do we have any quail hunters in our midst?

Re: Quail Hunting

There are a few quail hunters in here. I used to be, but the season is very restrictive here in Ohio. The winters of 77 and 78 really decimated our bobwhite numbers. I've seen a few here and there every now and then, but there's no season on them where I live.

It's all about habitat, and Ohio doesn't have it. frown.gif

Here is an old family pic of my Dad and Uncles after

a duck hunt off Indian Road by the Black River.....

My Dad moved us all to Texas, this State is very

Hunting Oriented and still has the rural agricultural

land to support good hunting...But we still miss the Fall

Duck Hunting, Winter Rabit Hunts. and Coon Hunting

all night long.... Running the woods chasen coon dogs

on the scent...

Hope U Have a great Hunting season up there !!!

I think you're talking about Indian Hollow road. That road intersects Parsons, which runs into Grafton.

Yep, that area of Grafton is still pretty rural. The north and west end of town is not like that; it is pretty well built up now.
