peas patch plus???

I was at gander mountain and I saw some peas patch plus on the shelf and wasnt sure if it would be worth my time to plant, So I was wondering if any of you guys have had any good luck with it before. Is it worth my time and money planting it? when am I supost to plant it? it is going to be a hunting plot.

You COULD plant our Pea Patch now but it is more intended as a warm season planting. It can be planted for a fall kill plot but once the frost hits the plot it will be killed and there is no time to re-work the ground and plant your cool season plot.

What we recommend is that you plant Pea Patch in the spring. Pea Patch is very high in protein, which is what does and bucks need at this time. At the end of summer you would then mow the plot down and plant your cool season, high energy plot.

Here are some recent photos of one of my Pea Patch plots. As you can see, the peas will vine up the sunflowers and sorghum. I added lablab to this mix prior to planting. This plot was planted in May and is now 7 feet tall.
