slughunter
I planted some Prograze food plot seed in early may and right now it is growing great, I was wondering if I will need to re-plant it this fall in order to get the fullest out of it? or will it go just as good if I leave it? any input is much needed -shane
dogdoc
Re: Brassica, clover, and chickory question? shouldn't have to replant the clover and chicory. I think you're in a wait and see situation. Wait and see what the plot looks like the end of August. If anything you can probably get away with overseeding the plot right before a good rain. todd
wtnhunt
Re: Brassica, clover, and chickory question? Might try sowing in some wheat ro winter rye grain in your plot if it is thin. This will not hurt your clovers or chickory and will come in quick.
Tominator
Re: Brassica, clover, and chickory question? I wouldn't reseed it. Maybe throw some annual stuff down like William suggested.

wtnhunt
Re: Brassica, clover, and chickory question? Some clovers and chickory are perenials. Brassicas are an annual, they will eventually die out.

[/ QUOTE ] when, after the first frost or when? [/ QUOTE ] The frost won't kill them--the brassicas are very cold tolerant. The frost will actually make them taste better. The will usually mature out the following spring and die.
