Guest huntinnurse
Re: Ladies I've been shooting. Am ready to hunt. Saw a monster on our property this last week. Huge body around 300lbs, and high and wide rack already. And I prequalified last fall for my earn-a-buck tag so Whe mid Sept. comes HE's mine!! Deb
Re: Ladies Oh yeah, I've been shooting, just started back up 2 weeks ago. I finally perfected my bad habits and the desided to have someone critique my form. So next week I'm changing my anchor point, unlocking my elbow, moving my peep up so that I don't tilt my head, and getting rid of the metal release attaching thing on the string. And I want new arrows. Guess I'll be practicing a whole lot more!!!!! Nothing like an achery make-over!
NiteRunner
Re: Ladies Hey Deb, Where in Ohio are you located? I haven't been out too much shooting. I need to though and build my arm back up for season. Thanks for the Reminder! Laura
TxStarr
Re: Ladies Hubby and I were out shooting last week and I am getting so excited .... finally worked up to consistent accuracy at 30 yards! I never thought the day would come when I would stand side by side with hubby and be able to match him shot for shot but it finally happened! One thing I noticed is that the further from the target you are the more concientious you have to be about your stance, grip on the bow, touch point etc. because it is less forgiving at longer distances. I know this is just common sense but I had to actually see the effects to understand it. Good luck to all this season! Shannon
Deb
Re: Ladies Nite-runner, I live in the Dayton area. I hunt in Clark Co and I'm fortunate to have gotten on a small farm in Greene Co , too. I'm already wound-up for this season! Bet I'm not the only one!

I have shot a couple of 3ds and that always helps and I get a little pratice time in here and there but not as much as I should. But it is always different in the woods anyway.I was ready for hunting season to start when it was over last year. Good luck to all this season and all of the seasons to come.
