Swamphunter
OK, how many of you guys re-gift?? I do if at all possible. Every year I get a cheese basket at work that comes pre-wrapped with X-mas paper. As soon as I get it, I put a tag on it for whoever is my intended receiver and slip it in the fridge until its time. Bad yes...(maybe)..., money saved from being cheap, directly for hunting equiptment! Also a few years ago, my brother in-law (Hillbilly173), got married and received this God-awful looking frame as a wedding gift in the month of August. That December 25th, I receive as a gift from him and my new sister in-law this same picture frame with a wedding picture of them in it!!! (Wait, that would be my worst X-Mas gift, not the socks I wrote about in my other post). So anyways, now the following May I get married to my wife and I take this same frame and wrap it up with a pic of me and my bride in it and BINGO... instant X-mas gift. This has been going on back and forth with pics of me dressed like superman and my sister in-law in the recovery room after having a baby. Pic of me picking my nose... back and forth now for X-Mas gifts and birthday gifts ever since X-mas of 1998. All the pics that have been sent back and forth are still in the box with the frame and it has kinda became a family tradition that this goes back and forth. I am actually due to get it this X-mas.... I guess right now, re-gifting sucks....
JimT
Re: Regifting - Good or Bad? I do... I get some mighty stupid gifts every year...So many that I do not ever feel like opening anything. Teddy bears, popcorn in a stained girly jar, tools that break while opening the package, it goes on. All I ever ask for now is gift certificates.

David_218
Re: Regifting - Good or Bad? Wasn't there a show on "Seinfield" about regifting. I have to admit I "Regifted" a few times!
HuntingInMaine
Re: Regifting - Good or Bad? I wouldn't regift something that was a peice of junk, but if it was something I know someone else would truly enjoy, then I would do it. huntn4bucks
Re: Regifting - Good or Bad? I don't exactly consider this re-gifting but sometimes I'll order something from a catalog or the web for myself and it's not exactly what I was expecting when I get it. Instead of going thru the hassles of returning it and paying additional shipping, I just save it and give it to someone else as a gift.
