8ptbuckpa Posted July 10, 2006 Report Share Posted July 10, 2006 Here are the 2 plots I planted the first 2pics are ultra forage and bucks and bosses from Tecomate(april 15 planting) there is some corn in there to I need to weed b/c of the rain the weeds popped up quick. Not really anything you can do about the weeds now. Prep work is key with plots, I use glyphosate(roundup) in the stages of my prep work. The sorghum in my home mixed blend is in spots as tall as yours appears to be, I planted my peas and sorghum June 17th. Planted and then fertilized a week later with 6-12-12 at a rate of 50 lbs for approximately a half acre worth of plots. Has been really dry here and it is raining a much needed beautiful soaking drizzle here today right now. Really looking forward to seeing how my plots come on after this rain.
