WIwhitetailhunter
Re: Need Shooting Help Maybe you need to take a break. Could be you've been shooting too much the past few days. A solid anchor point is the key. It could very well be that your muscles need a little time off because you've overworked them. More is not always better. VermontHunter
Re: Need Shooting Help Sounds like you're trying to over compensate... Take a break for a couple of days... Relax your grip and breathe... and don't force your sight to the target,, let it float onto it...
tedicast
Re: Need Shooting Help 2 things come too mind right off the bat.....Is your poundage too high? Try cranking the weight down a few pounds, and see if it helps. Second, id your draw length too long. Being over extended at full draw is a great way to end up shakey. Just the first two things that popped into my mind. Good Luck.
Guest HaDeRonDa
Re: Need Shooting Help The discipline to stop shooting is tough to get a hold of when you're an addict. Nice to see. Take a break and let those muscles rest and become stronger. This same thing happens to me every year but that is because I have another passion as well. You got rock? I can probably climb it! Rayzorp
Re: Need Shooting Help I agree with everything said about taking a break, I was so anxious to get my new bow sighted and ready I was shooting almost everyday, it was only a short time after I started I realized I couldn't keep the bow steady. I took about a week off, let the shoulder relax and I was back on target,, Good luck Ray
