I have been shooting a lot the last couple of days and for some reason I cant seem to hold as steady as I should be, So I was wondring if you guys had any tips on holding more steady. any tips would be very helpful. I get bad buck fever and dont want to blow the shot because im not holding as steady as I should be.

2 things come too mind right off the bat.....Is your poundage too high? Try cranking the weight down a few pounds, and see if it helps. Second, id your draw length too long. Being over extended at full draw is a great way to end up shakey. Just the first two things that popped into my mind. Good Luck.

The discipline to stop shooting is tough to get a hold of when you're an addict. Nice to see.

Take a break and let those muscles rest and become stronger.

This same thing happens to me every year but that is because I have another passion as well.

You got rock? I can probably climb it! LMBO

Re: Need Shooting Help

I agree with everything said about taking a break, I was so anxious to get my new bow sighted and ready I was shooting almost everyday, it was only a short time after I started I realized I couldn't keep the bow steady. I took about a week off, let the shoulder relax and I was back on target,,

Good luck
