Not sure of the exact number, i'll have to get the log out when i get the chance and see. But i did kill my first deer w/ a bow, a 4pt, when i was 10 years old pulling 45lbs. . . that was 11 years ago and i still remember it like it was yesterday. I have taken 12 deer with my bow, and 11 with my Gun. Not bad since I'm only 22, but I started out pretty early. I took my first deer when I was 11. There were a couple years in there I didn't even go huntin cause I was chasing girls around! Good luck this year go slay em in SO IL!! Have taken some does with my gun but prefer stick and string much more!! First deer was a doe, the cool thing was seeing my broadhead marks in the heart. Perfect shot!! I remember seeing the tracking string, yes I used it back then, my dad wanted me too, it just took off like I had a big old marlin on! LOL!! After countless complete misses I connected and my dad was pretty happy too! I'll remember that day forever! I currently am looking at 3 hanging on my wall in my office and probably around another 4-6 bucks and countless does.
