[/ QUOTE ] Ohhh...........it's not just cats. I'm an equal-opportunity discriminator. Can't stand the vast majority of unemployed horses, either (as opposed to the ones that work for a living rather than standing around whinnying for oats). Aside from the fact that cats have nearly zero personality compared to a dog or an iguana or a hermit crab.........they are filthy. Just because they lick themselves doesn't mean they're fit to keep amongst my family. They poop in a box in the house, stomp and cover the poop with their feet, then roam around the floors, furniture, countertops and kitchen tables. Now, I can gut a deer with one hand & eat a Snickers bar with the other......but that grosses me out. As far as rodent control goes.......a mouse trap is a one-time fee of 79 cents and it has no attitude, eats nothing but the occasional hunk of cheese and I can put it in a drawer where I don't have to look at it any time I want. And, once I've figured out it was a mistake getting a mousetrap, I can throw it in the garbage. I don't have to take it to the shelter or drive a country road and toss it out the first place I see that has a barn. Mousetraps are not commonly found wandering the neighborhood killing birds or baby rabbits, either. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
