WIDeer4Life
I'm going to be getting new broadheads this year and was wondering if anyone has tried the new 4 blade MXs from Muzzy. Id like a fixed blade that flies straight but if not I think Im going to try the Grim Reaper Expandables. So please let me know how you guys feel about the new Muzzys. Thanks. kyle
PAbowhunter4life
Re: New Muzzy Broadheads I have never PERSONALLY tried the, but fromw hat I have read on the net they are sharp and tough, but they are just so-so in the flight department. I have read this on quite a few occasions from reputable people, but as I said, I have no personal experience with them. Regardless of what u choose, good luck! ODH
Re: New Muzzy Broadheads I shoot Muzzy's 125g 3 blade, and they fly awesome!
TreeWalker
Re: New Muzzy Broadheads I'll be getting a set of the New Muzzys, simply for the fact I've shot the origial muzzy 4-blades since the came out and have loved them for their accuracy and their hole cutting ability.... Guest Finn
Re: New Muzzy Broadheads I'm sticking with the 4 blade muzzys I'm shooting now. Why pay $20 for 3 MX-4 when I can get 6 regular 4 blades for $34? For me, the performance is very good with the originals.
Guest ILclimber
Re: New Muzzy Broadheads Haven't shot the new MX's, but I have been shooting Muzzy 3 blade and 4 blade 100 g heads for about 7 years now, and I absolutely love them. Grim Reapers would also be a good choice. Dad shoots Grim Reapers and he loves them. We have always had really good blood trails with both! Gator
Re: New Muzzy Broadheads Not legal here in Oklahoma, I have shot the original 4-blade head, and must say, they leave an impressive hole.

Guest tyshe17
Re: New Muzzy Broadheads I am a muzzy man, and really trust my 3 blade 100 grain. However, I was not impressed with the overall sharpness of the mx4's...a new head that is really shart, and should fly great (short ferrel) is the new Redhead Blackout and/or (because they are the same thing) the G5 Striker. These heads look great for a midsized fix blade. As for me, opening day will find me with a 3 blade 100 grain Muzzy.
WIDeer4Life
Re: New Muzzy Broadheads Thanks for all the input guys. I guess the best way to find a broadhead I like is to try them and see how well they fly. I think this year I'll either give the original 4 blade muzzys a try or ill try the MXs. Either way, I think both BHs will do a great job. Thanks again. Kyle
DU_man_84
Re: New Muzzy Broadheads i want to get them and try them, but i just got a new pack of original muzzy 100 gr 4 blade, right before the new ones came out, so im prolly gonna stick with the new ones i got now and get the new MX's next year maybe, i might just get nuts and go buy the MX's and see what there like and use them this year and have the old 4 blades as back ups
