Re: climbing stands

I used to own a API grandslam which I found to be okay but I never could silence the clanking noice of the cables while in transport. Then I purchased a Tree-Lounge and life never has been the same since. This is the most comfortable stand I ever sat in. It's also the safest treestand I know of, falling out of a Tree-Lounge is next to impossible. Last week I ordered a new Tree-Lounge, the new model is much lighter. While I was at it I also ordered a Summit Broadhead.

As I get older weight, comfort and portability seem to become more important in chosing my stands.

Yall use them for bow or gun huntin most. i will be gun huntin mostly

I hunt about 70% of the time with bow and firearm from the treestands. The rest on the ground from blinds or stalking. It all depends at the situation and what tactic seems the best at the time. My scouting will determine what tactic to use.

I got the Summit Goliath as well. I even sleep in it when I hunt during the rut and sit all day. A catnap at 9am and again at 3pm and I'm set!
