Strut10
Re: Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag You should be able to get a decent used "shooter" gun with a blued finish for around $275 or $300. A brand new s/s SBH can be had for around $430. Have fun with your new toy!! I've got a 7 1/2" s/s SBH .44 mag. It recoils more than a .44 needs to. Messed up grip & trigger guard design. But it's rock solid and a fun gun to tinker with. You might wanna look into a set of rubber "wrap-around" grips by Hogue or Pachmayr. hangunnr
Re: Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag I'd think $325 would be a decent price if the gun is in good shape and the timing was on. I would highly recommend investing in a set of the soft rubber grips. The factory grips can be very hard on the hands. hangunnr

45-70cannon
I love those prices. I bought one today and paid $475.00 second hand, but great condition and never fired, still in the original box.
just-an-illusion
Congrats on picking up a good gun. I've got a SS 7 1/2" SBH Hunter in 44mag with the Houge monogrip. The whole package with a Leuopold scope and 2 boxes of ammo out the door was right at $900. The Houge monogrip was the second best investment of the whole deal. This grip cuts the percieved recoil in about half. Great shooting gun and deadly accurate to 125 yards. Enjoy and GOD BLESS

My gun has the standard grip (wood) on it and I probably won't fire it until I have something a bit more manageable on it.
just-an-illusion
I bought mine at the gun dealer where i bought the pistol. I would think that midway or blackhawk would carry them. Or go to Houge's website and do a dealer search for your area. Good luck and GOD BLESS
WNY_Whitetailer
If you are looking to Google it, spell it Hogue or go to www.getgrip.com BTW, I have one on my SBH Hunter in 44 Rem Mag...Feels great to shoot it with that grip on it. 45-70cannon
I ordered the Hogue grips for my cannon. and cannon it is! I took it out last week for the maiden voyage and what a maiden voyage itwas too. I thought the first time I pulled the trigger it was going to knock my head off! I got really used to it quick too. Another fellow that has one told me to start shooting the 180 grain slugs instead as those will shoot a whole lot smoother than the ol' 240 grainers. The Hogue grips will allow me to not worry about where my noggin will be after shooting the 240's!
