NYBUCK
I want to put a red dot scope on my U22 neos. Don't want to get real expensive but don't want a cheap one either. Anyone have any recomendations ??? Make and cost?
VTbowman
Re: red dot I am not familiar with that gun. I put a BSA Red Dot on my Remington 870 12 guage shot gun and use it with 3" turkey loads and have had no problems with it at all. Got mine at Walmart for around $29... I bought it with other things in mind but it ended up there and I figured the shot gun would tear it apart after a while with the high recoil. If I were to replace it I would go with something a bit more designed for the recoil... However, its still going strong and seems to hold zero well. As far as I can tell with a shot gun pattern that is. LOL
hangunnr
Re: red dot I've not had good luck with the low end red dot sights. I rattled several Tasco's and one Millet loose. I currently use Ultra Dot, Aim Point and J-P red dot sighting devices. hangunnr
johnf
Re: red dot I use that same $29 BSA that VTbowman uses on my neos. It groups very tightly at 25 yards. I was shooting 6" balloons at 125 yards with it a few months ago with relative ease. I've put around 3K rounds with it on the neos and only sighted it in once. It's on my 30-30 now and the recoil hasn't botherd it yet..
